GOLF DESCRIPTION
The Golf of Rochefort Castle is located in the South-West of Yvelines, 45 kilometres (28 Miles) away from Paris. Ideally served by motorway (A10 and A11), this wonderful 272 acres domain is the closest UGOLF course to Le Golf National where the Ryder Cup 2018 will be played from the 25th to the 30th of September. It will take you only 30 minutes to reach Rochefort from the Golf National.
Bordering the Chevreuse Valley and the Forest of Rambouillet, the Golf of Rochefort Castle has a sumptuous rolling 18-hole course measuring 5600 metres (6125 yards) surrounded by centuries-old trees. It is often compared to the best golf courses in Scotland! Laid out on soft heath earth and a bed of permeable sand, the course is also one of the few resorts on which you can play all year round.
Drawn in 1964 by Frederic William Hawtree, the Golf of Rochefort Castle is one of the most beautiful golf courses near Paris. Besides this extraordinary course, the golf has at your disposal a 14 spots driving range. We also rent complete golf club sets and golf buggies by reservation.
